CommVault is a leading provider of data management software applications and related services. We develop, market and sell a unified suite of data management software applications under the QiNetix (pronounced "kinetics") brand. QiNetix is specifically designed to protect and manage data throughout its lifecycle in less time, at lower cost and with fewer resources than alternative solutions.

CommVault received the highest rating ("Strong Positive") in Gartner's MarketScope for Enterprise Backup/Recovery Software, 2006, an industry report recently published on www.gartner.com. Vendors were evaluated on 6 criteria and given 1 of 5 ratings: Strong Positive, Positive, Promising, Caution or Strong Negative. CommVault was one of two vendors (out of nine vendors in the report) to receive a "Strong Positive" rating—one that pertains to a solid provider of strategic products, services or solutions.
